I spent some of my time off sewing this Kwik Sew pattern, the Uptown Dress.
It was super fast and easy, being an elastic waist number. I will say as elastic waist dresses
go I prefer the Miz Mozelle pattern, it had a better fit and girly detailing, this Uptown dress
left me a bit lack luster and felt bulgy around the waist. I would give it another go maybe
in a floral and probably use one pattern size down. Not bad though for a first try. Cheers!
I like it! I think it'd look great with a blazer or other structured top to contrast with the flowiness. Job well done :)

DeleteVery cool pattern-I like the look. If the waist is worrying you maybe use a lighter fabric like voile or lawn next time and omit the elastic just use a belt or self-tie instead.
