I have a romantic notion of hitching up a vintage caravan
and getting away for a weekend. Hopefully it would be more

Love Padlocks

 

With arrival of February upon us, I'm posting something a bit romantic; a pic of the love locks on a bridge over the Siene in Paris and A Little Romance, a cute late 70's film about youngsters who run away to kiss under a bridge in Venice. What is it about love and bridges?

The tradition of hanging locks is not new and one fountain in Uruguay states: " The legend of this young fountain tells us that if a lock with the initials of two people in love is placed upon it, they will return together to the fountain and their love will be forever locked." I found out this morning that the Williamsburg outlet Built by Wendy store is closing. Sad!
For those living in the area- 46 North 6th St.- sounds like a big sale! Dress is Built by Wendy.

New Project

 

I am very exited to have a new bicycle restoration project. 

I have a vintage Raleigh Sports much like the green one above, 

but in the brown color pictured. It needs a lot of work

and the lovely head badge is missing, but I love the style of an old bike.
